the village sheep—FAQ's

Hopefully we can answer all your questions here. If not, please do not hesitate to contact us toll free at 877-457-1999. We would love to hear from you.

1. How quickly will my order be shipped?
Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation. We will review your order before the next business day, ensuring accuracy and completion. Your credit card will not be charged until we have passed this Quality Control stage. All orders are processed and shipped within 72 hours.

2. Do you charge Shipping & Handling fees?
Yes and No. Let’s face it. No one likes to pay for shipping but with gas prices what they are, most orders cost less to ship than a few gallons of gas. And if you spend more than $100, we will be happy to ship your order with FREE shipping & handling via Standard Shipping (3-7 days) at no charge.

We ship within the United States at the rates listed below. All shipments will go by USPS — either First Class or PRIORITY MAIL based upon package weight.

The shipping chart below details charges.

Returns
1. What if I need to return something? Your complete satisfaction is important to us. We work hard to ensure we process your order accurately and expediently. On the rare occasion that we make a mistake, let us know and we will fix it to your satisfaction. Call us toll free at 877-457-1999 and ask for our Returns Department. Please see the reverse side of your invoice for instructions that must be followed when making a return. The Village Sheep will need to issue a RTV # (Return to Vendor Number) to you. We will not be able to receive nor process any returns without this number. If you have any questions regarding this procedure, please contact us at: returns@thevillagesheep.com

Every order arrives with an itemized packing slip/invoice. Unused yarn, in its original packaging and condition, can be returned within 45 days of purchase. We do not accept returns on patterns, needles or books unless they have been damaged in shipment. (Please include a description of the damage with your return.) We also do not accept returns on sale merchandise, unless damaged in shipment.

Simply pack your return with a copy of the original sales receipt or packing slip and ship to our address below. Please remember that you must be issued a RTV# before returning the merchandise to us. We prefer that you ship via UPS or FedEx and that the package be insured for the purchase price. Shipping costs for non-defective, non-damaged returned merchandise are your responsibility and are not covered by The Village Sheep.

Each packing list will have instructions on the back for making a return. When you place your order, please remember that colors on your computer monitor may not reproduce exactly due to varying monitor settings. We spend a great deal of time with our photography, to make sure our colors are as accurate as possible on our monitors. That said, we have no way of knowing what the colors will look like on your monitor, and we cannot be responsible for that.
