Placing an Order
Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation. We will review your order before the next business day, ensuring accuracy and availability. Your credit card will not be charged until we have passed this Quality Control stage. We make every effort to process and ship within 72 hours.

We ship to U.S. states only. All shipments will go by UPS ground service so they are insured and traceable at no additional cost to you. We use Priority Mail for AK and HI. Please provide a street address for shipping, (AK and HI order can provide a PO Box address)

We will place your order on hold if any item on the order is temporarily out of stock, or if we have any problems at all with your payment. We will notify you as soon as possible if this situation arises. We will do our best to notify you if a supplier is backordered on an item on your order. Upon your approval, we may ship you the in stock items.

We do ask, if you receive an email from us about a problem with your order or an issue with your credit card, that you respond to us as quickly as possible. We like to resolve issues and get answers to our questions as quickly as possible, so we may get your order on its way to you. If you do not provide accurate contact information, and we do not hear back from you after 2 attempts, your order will be cancelled.

If you need to request a change to your order, please call us at our toll free number (877-457-1999) as quickly as possible or you can email us at orders@thevillagesheep.com. Have your order number and order date handy. We will make every effort to make the change, however, because we process orders as quickly as possible, we cannot guarantee that your change can be made.

Returns
Your complete satisfaction is important to us. We work hard to ensure we process your order accurately and expediently. On the rare occasion that we make a mistake, let us know and we will fix it to your satisfaction. Call us toll free at 877-457-1999 or you can email us at returns@thevillagesheep.com. Please see the reverse side of your invoice for instructions that must be followed when making a return. The Village Sheep will need to issue a RTV # (Return to Vendor Number) to you. We will not be able to receive nor process any returns without this number. If you have any questions regarding this procedure, please contact us at: returns@thevillagesheep.com

Every order arrives with an itemized packing slip/invoice. Unused yarn, in its original packaging and condition, can be returned within 45 days of purchase. We do not accept returns on patterns, needles or books unless they have been damaged in shipment. (Please include a description of the damage with your return.) We also do not accept returns on sale merchandise, unless damaged in shipment.

After you receive your RTV#, simply pack your return with a copy of the original sales receipt or packing slip properly filled out and ship to our address below. We prefer that you ship via UPS or FedEx and that the package be insured for the purchase price. Shipping costs for non-defective, non-damaged returned merchandise are your responsibility and are not covered by The Village Sheep.

Security
Your complete satisfaction and sense of security are important to us. We protect the security of your credit card information and other critical information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL encrypts your data to prevent its decoding by anyone except The Village Sheep.

You can tell if your connection is secure by looking at the lower left corner of your browser window. If you see an unbroken key or a closed padlock (depending upon which browser you're using), you are in a secure transmission with SSL active. If SSL is not active, the key will be broken or the padlock will be open. SSL will become active anytime you communicate sensitive or confidential information.

Another way to tell if you are in secure mode is to look at the URL line at the top of your browser window. The first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https" when you're in secure mode.
